vm2 是 Node.js 的开源 vm/sandbox。在 3.11.1 之前，当使用嵌套：true 创建 NodeVM 时，沙箱代码可以无条件 require('vm2')，无论外部 VM 的 require 配置如何 - 包括 require: false。通过访问 vm2，沙箱可以使用自己的不受限制的需求设置构建一个新的内部 NodeVM，并在主机上执行任意操作系统命令。任何在 NodeVM 内运行带有嵌套：true 的不受信任代码的应用程序都会受到完全损害。该漏洞已在 3.11.1 中修复。
